Debra has been documenting social justice issues for over a decade. Her photographs have become a visual history of the progressive movement in Los Angeles, capturing the emotional impact of our many successes and even our disappointments.Since 2008, she has focused on LGBTQ issues, mainly marriage equality and family acceptance, including a growing body of work of the LGBTQ Latin@ movement in Los Angeles.

The amazing Valerie Spencer will be the MC for this reception. Hosts: Al Ballesteros, Alex Kaufman, Ari Gutierrez, Augie Gorbea, Danny Segura, Diego Sepulveda, Fanny Veliz, Francisco Negrete, Joe Perales, Liliana Perez, Maria Roman, Marlon Morales, Michael Taylor, Patricia Veliz Macal, Roger Ortiz, Sergio Aviña; and Dante Alencastre, Director & Roland Palencia, Executive Producer at a reception to support the making of this documentary, the first of its kind.
