13th Annual Trans Day of Rememberance: We Are the Change

The Transgender Day Of Remembrance is set aside annually to memorialize those who have been killed due to anti-transgender hatred or prejudice. The Day Of Remembrance serves to publicly mourn and honor the lives of fallen trans brothers and sisters and to bring public awareness to ongoing hate crimes against the transgender community.
The Day Of Remembrance activities will begin with a march from Plummer Park to the Matthew Shepard Triangle, where the program and traditional reading of the names of transgender individuals who have died at the hand of continued anti-trans violence will commence.
