A one hour show filled with song, story and humor.
It will be followed by a Panel Discussion moderated by Rev. Dr. Robert Shore-Goss, the Pastor of MCC in the Valley. He received his doctorate from Harvard University and is the author of “Jesus Acted Up” and “Queering Christ” and is the co-editor of “The Queer Bible Commentary”.
Panel Members will be:
Dr. Richard Docter, PHD, a clinical psychologist and Emeritus College Professor at Cal State Northridge, and publisher of one of the earliest data-based studies of transgendered persons.
Marie M Keller, LMFT, a licensed marriage and family therapist and founder of the Los Angeles Gender Center.
Trystan Reese, Co-Director of the Los Angeles Trans Leadership Academy and Senior Field Organizer of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force and a trans man.
Rev. Megan More, openly transgender Clergy on Staff at MCC in the Valley who has her own weekly internet broadcast, and was a lecturer for the Transgender Religious Leadership Summit at the Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley, CA.
Missy Parker, a transgendered 4-time Grammy Award contender, multi-award winning entertainer, author, singer and instrumentalist, who has performed on stages from Carnegie Hall to NBC’s Tonight Show.
